Location: Dhayari Job Type: Full-time Department: Design & Development *Job Overview:* We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with at least 1 year of experience working with *CATIA* or *SolidWorks*. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in 3D modeling, drafting, and design, with the ability to create precise technical drawings and collaborate with engineers and designers. If you have a passion for product design and an eye for detail, we’d love to have you on our team. *Key Responsibilities:* - Create, modify, and review 3D models, parts, and assemblies using *CATIA* or *SolidWorks*. - Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings from 3D models, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. - Collaborate with engineering teams to understand design requirements and assist in developing technical solutions. - Ensure the accuracy and quality of technical drawings, incorporating design changes when necessary. - Conduct design revisions, troubleshoot design issues, and provide technical support to the team as needed. - Work with other team members to review designs, verify dimensions, and ensure functionality and manufacturability. - Maintain up-to-date project files and documentation, ensuring all changes are tracked and communicated. - Assist with the creation of BOMs (Bill of Materials) and other supporting documentation. - Ensure all designs meet the required standards for production, including tolerances, materials, and assembly processes. - Support the design validation and prototyping process when necessary. *Qualifications:* - *1+ years of experience* using *CATIA* or *SolidWorks* for 3D modeling and drafting. - Solid understanding of *mechanical design* principles and *engineering drawings*. - Proficient in creating 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings. - Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical drawings and schematics. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Familiarity with *material specifications* and *manufacturing processes*. - Basic understanding of *GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)*. - Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. - Experience with other software tools such as *AutoCAD* is a plus. - A degree or certification in *Mechanical Engineering* or a related field is preferred. *Desirable Skills:* - Experience with Design of Sheet metal parts, Drafting - Understanding of *manufacturing techniques* (e.g., Lathe Machining, Laser cutting, Pipe Cutting, Welding).
